We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a
cup of good cheer.
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some, so
bring some out here.
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The choir leaves the stage.
The scenery on the stage: a Christmas tree. Fireplace. Christmas stockings hanging on the fireplace.
It turns out the narrator.
The narrator: Today is Christmas Eve. Alice is eagerly awaiting gifts from Santa Claus. And she wants to open the last door of the advent calendar.
The narrator leaves. Turns out Alice.
Alice: Finally. I left open the last door! What a beautiful Christmas tree. So many toys on it. Oh, it's my favorite toy. It's so beautiful.
Alice sees snow globe.
It must be a wonderful country. I'd like to be there. Oh I have to open the last door.
Alice opens the door of the calendar. And sees the cake. Alice pulls out a cupcake. Tries.
Mmm what an unusual flavor.
Alice becomes small.
Small Alice: Strange feeling. And something stabs my foot.
The narrator: Alice looks at the ground and understand what is on the needles.
Small Alice: I don't know where I am.
The bells ring out. The Cheshire cat appears.
Cheshire cat: Oh, you again.
Small Alice: Help me. What’s happened? Where am I?
Cheshire cat: This is a difficult question. You're where I am. You got on a Christmas tree. You got your wish.
Small Alice: No. I wanted to ChristmasLand.
Cheshire cat: You can get there. Follow this road and you will come.
The narrator: Alice is right on the road. And she sees a big advent calendar in front of her.
Small Alice: I can easily get through that door. Maybe behind one of those doors will be ChristmasLand.
The narrator: Alice comes to the door and tries to open it. But nothing happens.
Small Alice: Strange. Closed.
Ivy: Who is it? What is she doing here?
Holly: are you blind? It's a girl. And very stupid girl.
Small Alice: Why do you say that?
Mistletoe: Don't you know how to count? The calendar opens on the 1st of December.
Small Alice: No. Today is Christmas Eve. So need to open door number 25. And who are you?
Ivy: We are the Symbols of Christmas.
Holly: I’m a holly. My prickly leaves are symbolized the crown and the thorns of the crucifixion of Christ. Red berries – drops of blood Jesus shed.
Mistletoe: My name is Mistletoe. I am a symbol of freedom, peace and friendship.
Ivy: I’m Ivy. I am a symbol of vitality, endurance and hope – even in the harshest conditions.
Small Alice: It’s very interesting, but I have to go home. It’s Christmas Eve and I want to get presents. Can you help me?
Mistletoe: Well, but we can’t do it. You need to find EXIT. It is behind the door.
Small Alice: Which door should I choose?
Holly: We don’t know.
The narrator: And the Alice decides to open the closest door. But it is closed.
Mistletoe: You should open the second door.
The narrator: Ivy, Holly and Mistletoe hide behind the first door.
Small Alice: Ok, let’s try the second door!
The narrator: And Alice opens the second door. She sees a little dark room with a little fireplace. There are some people near the fireplace. They sing a song.
There are 6 persons on a stage. They sing a song “Jingle bells”.
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh yeah
Small Alice: I’d love Christmas songs! I think they are very happy. But it isn’t my family. I will try next door.
The narrator: Alice closed the door and came to the next one. She opens the door and sees a very big hall with a lot of candles.
Small Alice: Oh, it’s so bright! Incredibly. So many candles.
The narrator: Alice saw a very big candle.
Small Alice: Who are you?
Christingle: I’m Christingle. I’m a Christ Light. The orange is round like the world. In the center stands a candle, it gives light in the dark, like God's love. A red ribbon encircles the "world" as a symbol of the blood of Christ. The four sticks point in all four directions and symbolize North, South, East and West, which mark the four seasons.
Small Alice: You are so beautiful! Please help me. I don’t know what to do. I wanted to get the CristmasLand, but now I think I want to go home.
Christingle: Dear Alice, the main thing at Christmas to be with family.
Small Alice: But how can I go home?
Christingle: You should find the Star. On top of the Christmas tree.
Small Alice: Thank you. I’ll try to do it.
The narrator: And Alice tries to open another door. But it’s closed. She tries and tries. Suddenly one door opens and she sees the huge bright star.
Small Alice: I find you! Dear star please I want to back home.
Star: My dear child, of course I will help you.
The narrator: The Star waved her hands and started spinning magical vortex. And Alice appears in her room.
Alice: I’m home. It’s so wonderful!
Mum: Alice, Christmas dinner is ready!
Alice: I’m coming! It’s so good to be at home.
The choir sings “O holy night”
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt it's worth
The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder brings a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night, O night divine
O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error-pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt it's worth
The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder brings a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night, O night divine
Everybody: Merry Christmas!
The end.
